Deepbleu has just begun water taxi service. They are based out of the Summit Hotel near Cupecoy, and can currently offer pickup anywhere in the lagoon that has water access. I am from the USA and normally I am the person who will gravitate towards the brand names I know when arranging for a car rental- Hertz, Thrifty, etc. After dealing with visitors to the island for several years however, I have found that the small, locally owned companies are the way to go, if they are well run. This is not because the cars are super special or the prices are super duper low - it is because if you need help with your car, a small company like St. Louis Car Rentals is very responsive. Marius has been running the company for over 10 years and knows all the ins and outs of the business. He is helpful and kind, and I'd recommend his company to anyone needing a rental car on this island.
