Montserrat Volcano Observatory - I know I know, this is not in St. Maarten, but it is close by (around 100 miles I think??). Twice while I have lived here I have woken to dust everywhere, which I later found out was caused by a dome collapse on Montserrat. Looking at the pictures (which are updated fairly often) is fascinating.

Montserrat does look like a great place to visit. There are still some people living there. I've always thought it sad though, a large portion of the community dispersed into the world.
